If you ever wondered what it feels like to handle a ball of molten glass at the end of a metal stick, this is your chance to find out.

At Prairie Dog Glass, we’ll offer you the opportunity to make a variety of glass items of your choosing, in the colors you prefer. We’re open 7 days a week 9 am - 5 pm (last class starts at 4pm).

A Glass Experience takes an hour and currently costs $225.00 plus tax. The price will go to $250 as of January 1, 2025, but if you book your class in 2024 for a date in 2025, you still get the $225 rate. By paying per hour, you get to decide how many people you want to participate. If there are more than 3 people in your group, some of our menu items will not be available due to the time each of them take. Not to worry, though! You can always extend your Glass Experience in half hour increments. Please come 10 - 15 minutes early to familiarize yourself with our facility. Once you’ve arrived, each of you will take a turn selecting a piece from our menu (see below) and picking their favorite colors. One of our instructors will work with you on creating that piece and you’ll be able to take it home after 9 am the following day. We also offer shipping, if necessary.

As you look over our menu, you’ll notice that each item has minutes associated with it. Just add up the minutes in a way that equals 60 and you’re all set for your hour. For example, you could make a bowl (25), a vase (25) and an ornament (10) in an hour. Or you could make 2 chilies (30), a heart (15) and a glass (15).
